Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Maintained by Tripa. This policy describes how Tripa uses cookies and local storage in the browser and app.

This document uses bracketed placeholders such as [Company legal name] where the operator must supply specifics. Have qualified counsel review before relying on this text in production.

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) store small pieces of data in your browser so services can recognise you and remember preferences.

2. Categories we use

  • Essential: authentication tokens and session state. Required — the app cannot function without them.
  • Functional: saved preferences such as active workspace, theme, map view state.
  • Security: rate-limit signals and CAPTCHA state to protect the sign-in flow.
  • Analytics: aggregated product analytics, only when enabled. Not used to profile individuals.

3. Third-party cookies

Google Maps may set cookies when map tiles or place data load. See Google’s privacy notice for details.

4. Your choices

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in. Analytics can be disabled from your workspace settings when enabled by your operator.

5. Retention

Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies expire after up to [12] months unless refreshed.
